I would like to use your services; how do I proceed ?
For any information request, you can send us your request via the contact form available on our website in the “contact us” section.
To request a repair estimate, simply go to our website https://carmeleon.fr and request an estimate online. Beforehand, please provide us with the registration number of the vehicle concerned and two photos of the damage.
How long does a repair take ?
Depending on the damage and the type of repair, an intervention can go from 30 minutes for a service in Dent Removal without Paint, to 4 hours for a repair in Painted Bodywork.
What are your rates ?
The services are estimated on measure thanks to the photographs sent at the time of the request for estimate. The rates are thus estimated as accurately as possible for each damage: a package without surprises thanks to a unique know-how!
What types of repairs are handled by your technicians ?
Dentmaster France is a specialist in the repair of used vehicles since 1995.
We bring our expertise to the services of automotive professionals on bodywork repair, interior, paintless dent removal or even hairdressing.
How far can we go (small or very large bodywork) ?
Equipped to do sheet metal work but without changing parts or dismantling
My dealership is based in Bordeaux but I sold a vehicle in Nantes. Is it possible to carry out interventions on the place where the vehicle was sold for the same customer account ?
Yes, it is. As long as the place of purchase is located in a geographical area covered by one of our technicians, it is perfectly possible to organize the repair appointment once the sale has been completed on behalf of your company.
What are the conditions for mobile intervention ?
- The floor space must be equivalent to about 2.5 parking spaces.
- A 220V power supply must be available nearby.
- If you are working indoors: the ceiling height must be at least 2 meters (be careful with underground parking lots).
- In case of bad weather, your vehicle must be parked in a covered and lit space.
- Only payments by check or bank transfer are accepted, no cash payment can be received by the technician
Do I have to sign a contract ?
No. For occasional interventions it is not necessary to sign a contract, but it is recommended when you wish a regular passage of our technicians on your sites.
Are invoices issued on the day of the repairs?
At the end of the repairs, the technician gives you a work order with the amount that will be invoiced. The invoice is then sent to you either by email or by mail approximately one week after the technician’s visit.
How long does it take to schedule an intervention ?
Our estimate requests are processed within 48 hours. Once the estimate is accepted, we intervene quickly on your sites according to the schedule of our technicians.

What equipment does a technician need to work on the road ?
A Carmeleon workshop-vehicle contains a paint laboratory equipped with a spectrophotometer allowing the creation of all the existing paint colors on the market.
It is also equipped with a transportable preparation area allowing both “dust-free” interventions and protection of the intervention site.
Finally, it has a unique suction system, including an air collector with particulate and molecular filters. In other words, it complies with the suction standards of an open paint booth, in order to respect the environment and the comfort and safety of our technicians.

Do mobile repairs meet environmental standards ?
Carmeleon’s mobile units are all equipped with a unique suction system, the AirCarm, incorporating an air collector with particulate and molecular filters. In other words, it meets the extraction standards of an open paint booth.
Is it possible to carry out bodywork and painting operations without a paint booth ?
Our technicians are equipped with a unique transportable preparation area, specially designed to allow an intervention in the same “dust-free” conditions as in a workshop, while preserving the intervention site from possible dirt.
I want to call a Carmeleon technician, what should I do ?
It’s very simple, just go to our website www.carmeleon.fr and request a quote online. Please provide us with your vehicle registration number and two photos of the damage.
Once we have received your request for a quote, we will estimate the feasibility of the repairs and send you our pricing proposal. If the estimate is accepted, our Customer Service Department will propose an appointment with our nearest technician, depending on the possibility of immobilizing your vehicle.
How do I know if you are working in my area ?
Go to our website carmeleon.fr in the “Request a quote” section and enter your address or postal code. If it is not covered by our technicians, a message will alert you that we cannot intervene in this area.
Where can the procedure be done ? At my home ? A friend’s home ?
The intervention can be done wherever you want: at your home, at your neighbor’s, a relative’s, a friend’s, at your place of work, it doesn’t matter as long as the conditions of reception are respected to welcome our technician.

Can you intervene at my workplace ?
If the conditions of reception are respected to welcome our technician on your place of work, we can intervene directly on the spot and thus allow you to carry out the repairs on your vehicle in all peace.

Of course! If you do not have the conditions to welcome us at home, we can offer you an appointment in the Norauto center closest to your home, at no extra cost.

For an appointment at Norauto, is Carmeleon / Dent Wizard in charge of the repairs ?
All our repairs are performed by our expert Carmeleon and Dent Wizard technicians. When an appointment is made at a Norauto center, the Carmeleon / Dent Wizard technician will come to your location with his mobile unit to perform the work on your vehicle.
What types of repairs do you perform ?
Scratched rims, scratches on the dashboard or inside the door, dents on your bodywork, or damaged paint, our Carmeleon technicians are trained in interior and exterior repair techniques.
Can I get a loaner car for an in-home repair ?
No. Since the technician comes to the site with his own vehicle, we do not offer a courtesy car during home interventions.
Is the cost of repair the same between the estimate and the final invoice ?
The rates of the estimates are established with photos of the damage for a better price estimation. All repair costs, labor and in some cases travel costs (for repairs outside of the covered area), are included in the estimate. The final invoice will be at the same rate as the one announced at the time of the validation of the estimate.
Is it possible to repair several damages at the same time ?
It is perfectly possible to repair several elements at the same time (for example: a scratch on the door and a scratch on the bumper).
In the same way that two technicians can intervene simultaneously on your vehicle if you have two specific needs: a technician expert in Paintless Dent Removal and a Body Painter technician.
I am afraid that Paintless Dent Removal will damage my bodywork…
Quite the contrary! Attend the repair and you will be reassured and won over! Our technicians are true bodywork goldsmiths: using long metal rods, they meticulously straighten the sheet metal from the inside to restore its original shape. Your vehicle will look like new!
My paint has been scratched: is it compatible with dent removal ?
As its name indicates, paintless dent removal is only possible if the impact did not damage your paint, because this ecological technique does not include any additional material (putty, paint). Dent removal will make the dents disappear, not the scratches.
How is Paintless Dent Removal better than Traditional Body Repair ?
If the paint on your car has not been damaged, a Paintless Dent Repair has many advantages:

Is it possible to buy paint ?
No. We do body shop repairs but do not offer paint for sale.
Is it possible to get the right shade of paint for my vehicle and how can I find it ?
The Carmeleon truck is a real paint laboratory in which our technicians prepare the exact color tones. Equipped with a spectrophotometer, a tool that allows us to scan the paint on your vehicle, our technicians are able to recreate all the existing tints on the market.
Do you work on all colors ?
Yes, our technicians are all equipped with a spectrophotometer, a tool that allows them to scan the paint of your vehicle, in order to recreate all the existing colors on the market.
Do you repair all types of vehicles ?
Apart from 2-wheelers, campers and caravans, we are able to repair all types of vehicles, from the most recent to the oldest.
Is it dry right away?
The drying time is included in the estimated repair time. Our technicians make sure that the work is finished and dry before the end of their intervention.
Is it possible to do body painting without a paint booth?
Our technicians are equipped with a unique transportable preparation area specially designed to allow for an intervention in the same “dust-free” conditions as in a workshop, while preserving the intervention site from possible dirt.
I wanted to repair my car myself, is it possible to make up for it ?
Within reason, everything is possible! Provided that the repairs did not damage the element to be repaired.

Do I have to pay the full amount of the repair for my hailed vehicle ?
No. Only the amount of your deductible defined by your insurer is to be paid to us on the spot at the end of the repairs on your vehicle.
The remaining amount will be paid directly to us by your insurance.
Do I have the right to a replacement vehicle during the repairs ?
We will provide you with a courtesy vehicle free of charge during the entire repair process. This vehicle can be assigned to you on the day of your vehicle’s repair appointment.
What are the steps in case of a hail damage?

How do I know if you have received my file ?
Once you have declared your hail damage to your insurer, the latter automatically transfers your file to us. You will then be contacted by our services in order to make an appointment for the expertise of your vehicle on the DENT WIZARD platform deployed in your region.
Where are your hail platforms located ?
Our platforms are located in each region affected by a hailstorm and in the most affected municipalities. We are either hosted by a partner body repairer or a Norauto center, or we create our own temporary structure in order to welcome experts and private customers in complete autonomy.
You are not a local company; will you stay long enough to do the work on my vehicle ?
We will stay on site as long as it takes to repair as many hail-damaged vehicles as possible.
All appointments made will be honored, even if they occur late after the closure of our platform: our mobile employees and subcontracted body repairers cover the entire French territory to carry out these repairs at our partner body shops.
I have parts of my car to be repainted, who will take care of the painting on my vehicle ?
Most of the time, we work with body shops in your region in partnership with your insurance company. If Paintless Dent Removal is not sufficient for the repair of your vehicle, or if a change of parts is necessary, we entrust your vehicle to one of these partner body shops.
It also happens that our own Carmeleon body shop technicians come with their mobile unit to our hail platforms.
Is it possible to do the repairs in another garage of my choice?
Of course, it is ! Our DENT WIZARD teams have been assigned by your insurance company to appraise your vehicle, along with a mandated expert.
Once the appraisal is completed, you are free to make an appointment for the repairs with our expert technicians in haircutting or in the garage of your choice.
